Sustainability summary

Wikipedia has achieved the E-label, because there is hardly any concrete reporting on policy measures implemented and results realized to protect the climate, environment and labor conditions. From our perspective it's hard to see the effort Wikipedia is taking on sustainability. Therefore, more policy and transparency is needed.

1. Is there a policy for the brand (company) to minimize, reduce or compensate carbon emissions ? Wikimedia Foundation, the organization that operates Wikipedia, implements several measures to reduce climate emissions, such as the purchasing of renewable energy for at least part of its servers, and a long-term commitment to use 100% renewable energy.
